What you'll do#
Using Chroma makes people happy. Building AI applications with Chroma is easy because it works the way our users expect it to.
Making retrieval simple and easy, while still giving users the power to control every detail, is a hard problem. Getting it right requires attention to detail, from the first time a user reads the documentation, to how we design our APIs, handle errors, and more. Great developer experience comes from the ability to translate deep user empathy into great code and great documentation.
In this role you will work closely with the Product Engineering and Community teams to build Chroma's user-facing features, and ensure that they continue to be a joy to use. You will build tools which make it easier to interact with Chroma, and you will work to ensure that our documentation is always clear, concise, and helpful.
